Microsoft Edge Stable Released! - Benchmarking

The time is here! There is now a stable version of Microsoft’s Edge web browser available for Linux. There have been beta and developer versions for some time, but the stable release was recently spotted in the yum repository hosted by Microsoft. If you’re interested in trying it out you can download the rpm package in Fedora or use the command line to upgrade in Ubuntu.

Looking at the official page the stable version is not yet an option, but there are other ways to get the package.

I am a Firefox user most of the time but I recently decided to use Brave for school work. Friendly reminder that you don’t need to use a single browser for everything!

Besides, its kinda nice to actually get some money from enabling brave rewards lol. I know some people don’t care about the crypto, but I don’t care about the ads, so its a win for me

When i first started distro hopping I moved my whole life to firefox, but honestly i’ve been giving edge a try on my Fedora install and it’s really fast and I like it. Its like if Chrome was better!

yes i know never trust a mega corp but its nice to have more options!
